What this site is for

This is patient education about the symptoms a heavy breast produces, published by Chongqing West District Hospital, a tertiary general hospital in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. It is a concern guide rather than a procedure page: it answers why the symptoms are happening, whether they need treatment, and which of several paths applies. The operation itself, and the anatomy it works on, are explained on the breast and body hub and on Dr. Mao’s own site, and repeating them here would help nobody.

The distinction the site is built on

Patients arrive describing symptoms, not size: neck and shoulder pain, grooves in the shoulders, a rash in the fold, difficulty exercising. Size explains those symptoms, and it is not the same thing as the complaint. Building the site around the symptoms rather than the size is what keeps the decision connected to what actually needs to change.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not name products or brands, quote prices or dosages, or promise a result. It does not describe surgical technique, because that belongs to the pages that cover the surgery. It does not present exercise, weight loss or a device as a way to reduce breast tissue, and it does not treat growth that is rapid or one-sided, a lump, or skin that has broken down as an aesthetic question at any point.

The limits of a website

Nothing here can tell you how much of your own breast is fat rather than glandular tissue, how much of it a weight change would remove, or whether your symptoms come from the load or from something else. Those require an examination in person, and the measurements cannot be taken from a photograph. Use this site to arrive at an assessment with better questions, and treat any answer you receive here as general information rather than as advice about you.
